What's going on?

Hey everyone, sorry I missed the last 2 meetings. The studio I work for got two pretty big projects in last week and I've been swamped with work. Finally got a breather last night and checked the board excited to see what has been going on and what the story has turned into but it looks like nothing at all

Did no one ever get in contact with George? Is this project dead in the water or something?

I missed the last one. I think we've all been waiting on George to get a story together. Nothing's happened for weeks.

There IS a story up (or the beginning of one, at least). It's "Game Start.rtf" under Writing.

I dunno, I guess I was expected an outline of the entire story at first, then he could fill in the little details later. Just so we know the different sections of the game, presented more as notes than a story. What we have is the very beginning and the very end, explained with great detail. Example:

-Player starts (shortened version of what he's written).
-Player is instructed to deliver a letter to The Farlands, as it is essential for the "Chosen One" to complete his quest.
-Player is informed he must travel through a dense forest and through a cave to reach The Farlands.
-Player travels to Mystical Mighty Morphin' Mushroom Forest.
-(Describe location)
-Player fights two Giant Gullible Guard GodShrooms protecting a cave.
-GodShrooms defeated, Player wanders into the cave, only to find that it is alive.
-The tunnels move around inside of it, create small puzzles for the player.
-Only after fighting a pack of Player'sName-eating SuperDeathWorms does the player leave the cave.
-He finds himself lost, as the tunnels moved.
-Player must camp out at night on a mountain, once nightfall occurs, he is greeted by the delightful fairy Luv Entriste.
-She joins his party. Player notices lights in the distance, is informed by the fairy that it's Cacawreeko Village.
-Once in the village, they find directions to The Farlands, but must venture past The Gnasty Gnomes of Gnottingham.
-Etc, but replace everything with the story that will be used.
